Yummy.....  If this guy was on more book covers I would read way more books.  :-)  I believe I have mentioned before that I tend to judge a book by it's cover, but with a model like that can you blame me?  Luckily for me, the story held within the pages is just as hot and juicy as the cover.  :-)

Ms Snow has really outdone herself with this short story.  I mean, she is already like the queen of steamy hot, short stories, but something about this book really just drew me in.  Maybe it was the combination of my love of MMA and a really hot romance novel, or it could just be the fact that both of these characters have known they were meant for only each other and they saved themselves until they connected.  I feel like virgins of any nature are a dying breed, I admit that once I joined the Army I let that part of myself go as I am sure most others have as well.  I find it an admirable trait when someone manages to overcome the temptation and wait until the perfect someone comes along.  On a side note, if rumors are true about 7 years, I have been born again in the last almost 18 years, so there might be hope for me yet.  :-)

Two of my favorite things together. A hot, alpha male fighter and Jenika Snow’s short, steamy stories. This book was fantastic!  In this day it’s almost unheard of for one or both partners to be virgins, but it’s what we all wish for. Reading this and seeing the way these two clearly feel about each makes my heart happy. I love that they truly get their HEA in this fast story of true love. I look forward to reading the next book.

This series has been calling to me for a while, it actually kept coming up in my Amazon searches.  I have roughly 800 books in my Kindle app's To Be Read folder, so I kept ignoring it.  But then this one, which yes I know is book 5 (Our you truly surprised that I started with the end and not the beginning?  You do know me right?), showed up on my ARC platform and I figured it was a sign to see what the fuss was all about. 

This couple is like the perfect book ends.  They both are suffering from pain in the past, tasked with solving a series of incidents in an environment that they are unfamiliar with, and have no idea what it means to back down from a challenge.  In this case, that no back up attitude serves them well.  Almost too well really, the HEA that they reach might not have happened without just a little bit of give from both of them.  Thankfully the queen has their back and helps them a little along the way.  I think you are going to love this book just as much as I did.

Personally, I am going to go back and read the first 4 books before book number 6 is released, but if you click on the book above you can either grab a copy of this book or make your way to book 1.

What a wonderful book to be in the initial expansion of Milly Taiden's Federal Paranormal Unit into it's own world.  I actually got this book initially as an ARC, but I had previously read books by this author and I knew that it was going to be good.  In fact, I had already placed my pre-order when I ended up with the ARC.  It is just one of those books that I know I am going to read more then once.  :-)

This book was not just about falling in love with the main characters, it was about connecting with everyone on the team.  The entire team is full of broken souls who need to connect with that one person that is fated to be their's in order to heal themselves.  That is certainly what happened in this book.  An unexpected pairing came at the moment when they both needed it most.  It might be a little difficult to top this wonderful read, but I can't wait to see what Ms Wilson comes up with next.

What a fantastic read!  A great addition to the Federal Paranormal Unit world!  Once I started I couldn’t put it down. I love how the group dynamics change as the characters grow. They finally accepted their places in the pack and they fought the bad guys and perceptions of others bringing them to their HEA. This is one of those books that often come across my Facebook feed, I liked the cover so I decided to take a chance on it.  As you know I am not shy about reading out of order, but I really did not realize that this was book 5 until there was mention in the book of relationships already cemented.  That did not deter from my enjoyment of the story though.  It rarely ever does, well, unless it is a serial book which we all know I prefer not to read.

Our gorgeous prince may seem a little harsh in this book, but after reading what his perfect princess has been up to for years, she needs that harshness to keep her on the straight and narrow path.  She is definitely one of those subs who take being a brat to a entirely new level.  But I guess some guys/girls prefer that in their relationships.  More power to them.  I was captivated by our poor prince, he was really kind of stuck in a situation that could have most certainly been worse.  But he managed to connect with his princess and find that HEA that they both were meant to have.

I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this book at first. The beginning shows the worst behavior our female lead could partake in. But enter our prince and she starts to come back from the edge. The further we go, the more we can see that the future princess needs a firm hand to keep her on the straight and narrow. By the end of the book, I was in love with the prince and wishing him luck with his princess. I hope there will be more books in the series.

I loved this start of the Owned and Protected series.  It starts sadly, but it seems like the beginning was an inevitable occurrence.  Of course, I am pretty sure that Kara is not really thinking that her brother's nefarious deeds will blow back on her.  She got lucky, more than once, when Devin is the one tasked with taking care of her.  After reading the book, I doubt that he would have let anyone else get their hands on her.  I do not think you will be disappointed when you read this book.  It hits all of those hot points: sexy, alpha male - commanding protector - completely wrapped around her little finger.  But he will never tell that.

I loved this book by Ms Stone.  Actually this entire series just does it for me.  The men of the Annex might not be the best guys, but they are trying the best that they can to turn to the good side.  Each guy, is a fine specimen of hot, alpha male.  I like to imagine they mirror the cover images that Ms Stone picks.  I mean seriously, look at the chest and arm candy on this one.  No matter how bad they are, once they find the woman who is meant to be their mate they turn that corner when it comes to her.  They are still as domineering and demanding as they have ever been, but they protect their lady loves and don't let the evil touch them.

I got this book as an ARC, but I had to buy it anyway.  :-)  Ms Hartley is one of my favorite authors.  This one is on par with the last series I read from her where there is a hot, alpha male who has no idea what is really going on behind the scenes.  So when he finds the woman who is meant to be his and sees how she has to live her life, he steps in to make her happy and protect her from everything.  The lucky lady is doing the best she can before she meets him, but she is only one person and before this she never had anyone in her corner.

This one is very dark, so be warned if you do not like those kinds of things.  Kristoff did the best he could for Magdelena, but he was in a bit of a bind as one he has never had these kinds of feelings before and two some of his control was taken away.  There is a big twist to this story that you are going to be shocked about when you get to it.  Even at the end, Kristoff tries to do the right thing, but it is not the right thing for Magdelena.

I think if you are brave enough to click on the book above and grab a copy of this book, you will find that it is a well written book about impossible situations and how people react to them.

As a warning, this book is very dark and has a lot of triggers, if these will bother you, you may not want to read it. That being said, this book is very well written. Kristoff was between a rock and a hard place when Magdalena came into his life. Her fire slowly changed his way of thinking until his hand was forced. You will never believe the twist at the end. The author did a fantastic job of pulling you into the story. I found myself reading the unpleasant parts because the depth of the emotion and detailed descriptions wouldn’t let me just skim over them. Overall, I would consider this a win for the author.

This book came to me as an ARC.  Overall I enjoyed the book, I really liked the guy.  Hudson is this great guy who is an alpha male, but puts that aside to allow for his mate to be who she wants to be.  I did not like her at all, at least not in the beginning.  She was this completely selfish character who could not see the world from anyone else's experience.  We slowly get to see her get better, but by the time that she really saw what she was doing to Hudson it was too late, well maybe, I will let you read the book to see what happens at the end.  Just know that he does get his HEA, the poor guy certainly deserves it.

I really enjoyed this story. I was not enamored of the female character though, she is a very selfish woman who can’t even see what a wonderful mate she has been fated with. Her mate, on the other hand, seems to be the perfect mix of alpha and love for his mate. I feel like Audrey finally became the woman Hudson deserves by the time the epilogue came around. He more than deserved the HEA the two of them managed to achieve.

Ms Crescent sure knows how to portray a nanny.  I'm sure a lot of current nannies wish that they would be as lucky as the ones that Ms Crescent writes about.  She makes sure that the nanny gets the guy she loves in secret and the children that she loves with here whole heart.  I especially enjoyed this book, the gentleman is not like some of the guys Ms Crescent writes about.  This one loves his daughter and spends as much free time with her as he is able.  He knew right away that this was the nanny for him, he changed his entire lifestyle when she applied for the job.  He is patient and helps her to find herself before he slowly presses his suit of her.

I know this one sounds off, but she is not really his sister and he is supposed to be the king.  I was not very happy with the sitting king, her actual brother and his actual brother, but eventually we get to see that his true heart lies in making his brother and sister happy.  Hopefully he manages to become the king they need and grows up enough to find a mate of his own.

I really enjoyed this story line, I love how the relationship of these two kind of grows organically into what it is meant to be.  She finally realizes that she can only do what she can do and she is not a failure because it takes her longer to find the cure then she thinks it should.  I did find it a little odd that there is another woman in the mix, but maybe her sacrifice will result in her finding a mate of her own.

The Zoes have out done themselves with this book.  I was immediately able to connect with this book and it's characters.  I mean, aside from the fact that they are shifters, you can find a community like this anywhere in small town USA.  I would actually love to move to a community like this.  Where everyone knows everyone else and they all look out for each other.  The citizens take in those who need help and will fit into their community, and you instantly become family.  I can't wait to read the next book in this series.  I know the muse will work as it will, but I hope we won't have to wait too long.

I love this new book in a brand-new series by one of my favorite authors. All of these characters are so relatable. You could drive to any small-town USA and find them, well except this is a small town of shifters. That’s right a brand-new town of mostly dragons, but they have the same issues and concerns as all of us. As each character enters you feel that need to know their story. But this tale is about the red dragon, the new girl in town and her son. Who doesn’t love a hot guy with a tortured soul?  Add in an adorable baby boy and I was hooked. The author did a fantastic job with this story and the slow path to HEA. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

How can you not enjoy a book where in saving someone who had given up on life, and in fact life had given up on her, he saves himself.  Of course, Raven does not see it as a gift at first, but that does not stop her from doing her part in saving her hero Gabriel.  I loved the way this book was written, the dynamics of the couple and the people who are with them.  I can't wait to read the next book in the series, I have already pre-ordered it.  I will also be reading some more books form the author as I can't imagine the rest of her writing is not good based on this book.

This is the first book I have read from the author and I loved it. The story was well written, the characters engaging and relatable, and the plot is perfect. I’m already looking forward to reading the next book in the series. I loved the little twists and turns and the unexpected surprise that blew everyone away. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next. I hope there will be some love for Avery in the future.  She would be a fantastic mate for one of the siblings. I just know it. Oh well, only time and the authors muse will tell.

Yummy!  A bear shifter in a uniform, what could be better?  Once again, Zoe Chant does not disappoint with her bear shifter books.  I love that most of her characters connect with their mate pretty much at the start of each book.  This particular couple had to survive natural disasters, a group of wild shifters and a lack of knowledge.  Ms Chant did a wonderful job of keeping the story interesting right until the very end.  The couple managed to reach their HEA in the end and, to me, that means a book well written.  I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

Krystal Shannan has to be one of my favorite authors with all of her little free stories she offers to her newsletter peeps giving out more detail on what has happened with her characters.  I often wonder what an author thinks happened to bring their characters to this place.  Well there is no need to wonder when it comes to Ms Shannan, she flat out tells us. 

Like all of the other mini stories, this one is very powerful.  I can see the characters I have come to love make each decision that brought them to the point where they find themselves on earth.  We get to meet people who did not survive and how the rest of Reylea reacted to the news of coming doom.  (We have to give them a little bit of a break as we don't exactly trust the guy holding the sign on the streets of New York either)  I look forward to her next full length book and any little story that she gifts us with in the future.

I love these little back stories!

I am truly enjoying these little views into the moments before everyone was forced to flee Reylea. It’s sad as so many good people perished before they were able to escape. Especially this one, you can tell Mitera is more than just a magic bender. She calls herself an elder, but she would appear to be so much more. I would say she is the closest connection to the higher power of their world. She foretold much during this little glimpse into the coming tragedy. I hope Ms Shannan continues to put these out for her loyal fans.

I think we have established that I am a lover of Christmas.  Well this book hit me in my little Christmas loving heart and I could not put it down.  Malcom is so brave in this book as he has to take a big leap of faith when he finds the woman who will bring light into his life.  She is no different, she welcomes Malcom into her life and helps him to find his true self.  Along the way she also heals herself.  Wouldn't we all love to find a Malcom?  Someone who has, through circumstances, had a very rough past and managed to break away.  Manged to find hope and then managed to rise from the ashes of what used to be.  I love this book and I can't wait to read more books by this author!

The beginning of this book is so engaging that I was drawn in from the very first page.  I absolutely love this book!  As some one who is 40 and a year away from a completely empty nest, I am especially touched by books like this that give me hope of a new lease on life.  Well and that I might manage to have intercourse again before I perish.  :-)

I love that this book is about a group of authors, especially that they like to get together to act out certain scenes of the books they are writing.  The hero in this book is such a gentle soul and is himself out of the dating game for a very long time, so he is able to relate to his new lady love.  I can't wait to read the next book!

Oh my!  This book will make even none believers take a second look at Santa and his reindeer.  (Especially if the reindeer look like these guys do)  It is just the right amount of Christmas with enough doubt to make you believe.  I think if it hadn't been for our heroine that Santa's son wouldn't have had a HEA.  But isn't that normally the case with romance books.  They present with a character that can only be saved and find their true path when they are paired up with the perfect mate for them.  When you read this book you will be in the Christmas spirit and ready to read the next book in the series.

Of course, believing is something that is sometimes hard to do, especially after hundreds of years, I would think. I truly enjoyed this little story about Santa’s son. I don’t want to give too much away, but he does get his lady love and his HEA. This is the perfect amount of Christmas magic no matter what time of the year you get to read it. I love this book!  Between the pages are shifters, dragon shifters, immortals, humans and ascendants, even a good guy, disguised as a bad guy, who is trying to prevent the rebels from hurting others. Our hero and his lady struggle through two missions, misconceptions and past hurt to find their HEA. But once they just let nature take its course, they fit together with ease. Who doesn't love dragons!  These dragons are made by a woman for a woman, which means they have just the right equipment to handle the job.  Ms Jacks has done a fabulous job with this series.  The book is well written the plot and story line are meant to pull you into the story as if you are really there and it works!  I did not want to put this book down once I picked it up and started reading.  The snarky dragon is too used to being alone and needed the strength that the right woman would bring to him.  I can't wait to see what happens with the rest of the dragons.

This is one of those feel good books that makes you crave the next word on the page.  Too bad the right kind of guys don't normally read romance novels, this is the perfect lesson as to why you should not bully anyone or treat them badly.  Especially when you want them above all others.  Be a leader not a follower.  Maybe it should be required reading for all high school freshman.  You never know who your mate is until you have already made mistakes in your treatment of them.

Ms Crescent stole my heart when she created this enemies to lovers book.  In true Sam Crescent style, she gave us a hot, alpha male who puts all of his focus into the woman meant to be his once he finds her.  And she gave us a strong woman who had been pushed down again and again in life.  Too bad the one doing the worst of the pushing is her new mate.  Fortunately for the both of them they are able to work through their issues and find a HEA that will always last.

This is the cutest little enemies to lovers book. If not for the intervention of the pack these two might have never found the love they were meant for. Kelly is so forgiving in this book, I’m not sure I could be in such a situation. It had to have been painful when her fated mate treated her so poorly as they were growing up. It might have taken a while, but when he decides to embrace his destiny he gives it his all. This book will have you believing in second chances and fate.

I think Ms Auclair is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. I might have mentioned it before, but Anne McCaffrey and her Dragon Riders of Pern is my absolute favorite when it comes to dragons. This new series, by Ms Auclair, is the first time I have found a dragon and their partner relationship that matches Pern so closely. What can I say? I love it!  The situation that brought this couple together might not have been ideal, but what they make of it is a perfect HEA. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

What a fantastic read!  This book was so different from most of the dragon books you may have read. A bond formed at conception creates the basis of this special pairing of dragon riders. We have Breck who hides behind a fun-loving facade, then we have Darla who seems to just let anyone roll right over her. Forced into a marriage with someone she doesn’t love romantically, Darla comes to the resort and finds her mate and realizes that too many people are depending on her and they can never be together. Breck is forced to understand and face a life alone because, he too, tends to put everyone else first. The road is long and fraught with many tears, but eventually they reach their HEA. I hope we get to see what happens to Liam next. He seems like someone who deserves to find happiness.

Nancey Cummings is a new author to me, but I was not disappointed.  Her addition to the Celestial Mates series had everything that makes them good.  Although she had to pay for her own transport to her new home planet.  The woman comes to the males home world to find love, which she does this one is a HEA you are going to enjoy, but first she has to deal with family issues, new world issues, and guy issues.  Hey!  No one ever said love would be easy, mail order or not.  This couple were meant to be together.  I hope the author writes some more books about the support characters included in the story.  There are several possible connections that I would love to read about.

The author ensured that we felt the hardships that come from being in a post natural disaster world and the difficulties often found when creating a relationship with your mail order bride. There were deep moments as well as laughter throughout this book. I hope we will get to see what happens with Merit’s sister.

As most of you may know, Reagan Hawk is actually Mandy M Roth.  So it should come as no surprise that her books have just the right amount of action, adventure, heat and of course hot alpha males who shift.  She has done a fantastic job with the Beast Masters.  I love that 2 hot alpha males who are at odds have had to learn to be friends again in order to save their girl.  The fact that Teon thinks she is weak, but is in actuality is a strong woman is another aspect of Ms Roth's writing that is a much enjoyed common thread.  This book is a very short read, but you will not be disappointed.

She not only gave us a hot wolf shifter, but she gave us his mate and so many twists and turns that you may need to lay down bread crumbs to find your way back. I loved it!  I really hope she writes more books in the Howls series, I would love to read more.

I loved the beginning of this book!  It was a wonderful expression of pushing through, especially when you are scared. From there it kept getting better. Flee the bad guy, run to Vegas, marry a hot wolf....wait!!!! what????  You heard me right, and then the journey really starts. Luckily the HEA is on multiple levels, which means the ending is full of shocks and surprises. I hope the author continues to add to this series, I would love to read what happens next.

Of course that’s a double edged sword since poor Agnes has to suffer feeling like she is an unwelcome addition to his life. One more alpha male who wants to run her life, but not live it with her. I was so glad when Hoss finally came to his senses. I look forward to reading the next book.

Typical me, I started with the new release and still have to read the three books before it. But what a new release!  I don’t feel like I lost out on anything by skipping ahead. The author briefly touched on characters from the other books, but it was mainly on the main couple. 

I felt terrible for Misty!  How awful to find your mate only to learn he was only there because he had been purchasing items from one of her friends and he didn’t even really want a mate anyway. I didn’t want to read Misty’s pain, but I just couldn’t put it down. From the first page to the last I was completely invested in the outcome of this story.   They may have had a long and hard road, but eventually they make their way to a HEA. I can’t wait to go back and read the rest of the series.

This might be one of those books that you guys think is inappropriate as it’s an older guy younger woman, but the lady in question is an adult. And let’s be honest you can’t help who you love. I love the way Ms StVil has him fighting his feelings as hard as possible. He does everything, including running away, but it’s hard to fight yourself and your feelings when you also have to fight against your love interest. I throughly enjoyed this hot dirty little read. I think you will love it, but you will have to click on the book above to grab a copy and find out for yourself.

This book is not just dirty, it showcases the growth of young love between the older guy and his best friend’s daughter. He tried to fight it for so long, but when she wants the same thing, and has no intention of ignoring it, what is a guy to do. This has all of the hallmarks for an epic battle between two alpha males, but the love they both feel for Lucy ensures a HEA to last. I look forward to reading more from the author.
