Oh my!  What a fabulous read!  I had to go out and purchase the previous two books in the series, this one was that good.  Hey!  No judging me, you guys know that I tend to not read books in order.  This book is from 2017, but it only just showed up in my ARC folder, so it is not my fault.  Where has it been all of my life?????  I hope we are going to get the next book in the series soon.  I mean, Hello!  I am dieing (I have no idea how this word is to be spelled, so please forgive me the misspelling.) to see what is going to happen with Nick!  Could his lady love be Teagan's best friend?????  One can only hope.  :-)

This couple couldn't be any cuter!  They are full of insecurities about themselves, no matter that their true friends and supporters have tried to steer them on the path of don't worry what others think.  They are smart, interesting and tend to roll with the punches.  Did I mention that one of them is a dragon, a billionaire (what self-respecting dragon would be without his hoard?), a scholar, they love to fight with swords, are gorgeous, with tons of gorgeous friends and just are so sweet and caring you can almost get a cavity.  Don't let all of that sweetness fool you though.  They stand up for what is right, their friends, themselves and each other.   Together this duo can overcome anything put into their paths.

All the makings of a perfect fairy-tale, Dragons, a hoard, a sword, friends, enemies and a mate, can be found within the pages of this book. This is the first book from the series that I have read, so trust me when I say it can be read as a stand-alone. Although you will miss out on what I am sure are fantastic HEAs if you don’t start with book one. Now to take my own advice and read the first two books before the next book comes out. I can’t wait!

There are so many things that are So Good about this book, yes I love that so you are probably going to be hearing it throughout this post.  So be prepared.  :-)  The first thing is that cover!  I mean really, I could look at this cover for hours.  Tattoo porn, arm/chest porn, a beard, it's dark so you really have to look at it to see all of the subtle nuances, the title looks like a neon light.  Yep!  I could totally just look at the cover and never open the pages.  I know, I know, you aren't supposed to judge a book by its cover, but have you seen this cover!

Well anyhoo, luckily I did manage to stop drooling long enough to open the cover and what an experience it was.  When you think about taboo it often gives you the creaps, but there is no icky feeling when you read this book.  Of course, that has to do with the fact that taboo is just one persons interpretation of the facts.  But there is really no icky factor with this book, the taboo is all about perception.  I know, some of you just can't help yourselves, but if age gaps and keeping it in the family are something you are totally against this might not be the book for you.  Please do us all a favor and just not read the book.  I cannot stand someone who gets on the platform and gives a bad review just because they stand behind their own principals.  I mean, seriously, if it bothers you that much why did you read the book?  There was no false advertising when it came to the blurb about the book.  Do you stand on your platform because you are trying to hide the truth?  What's that saying about thou doth protest too much?????

Anyway, I love this book and clearly I am in the majority as this is already a Best Seller and is #1 in Erotica (books).  Go Ms Snow!  The guy is the dark night many of us have been looking for.  He goes to such extremes to keep his love from happening, but it is little like a freight train when it comes to a HEA that is just meant to be.  Of course, having a sweet little darling like his lady love making sure she is a temptation defeats the purpose of all of his struggles.  Not to worry though, this book has all of the angst and intrigue that we love to read when we pick up a Jenika Snow book and the HEA that we couldn't do without.  Be sure to click on the book above to grab your copy and see what makes this a Best Seller.

This book was so good, pun intended. But seriously, this is an age/multiple taboo story, so those of you who are offended by those kinds of things, this might not be the book for you. For the rest of us, who just love a sweet love story where the gorgeous older guy gets his girl, you are going to love this story. The author made this a slow build to the perfect HEA that you won’t want to miss. I can’t wait to read the next book by this author.

This author is very new to me.  I have seen her posts around Instagram and I love the covers she has been throwing around, her marketing effort is a sure indication that she is passionate about her writing.  When she reached out to me to read her book, I was completely on board with it.  I had already thrown it in my Amazon wish list, but just hadn't had a chance to grab it yet.  So yay! total score on getting to read something I was already eyeballing.  

This book was a fantastic read!  I have to warn you though, these characters throw around endearments like they are candy.  You are a dear and you are a dear and everyone is a dear, well you might be a darling.  In my mind I just started to skip all of that, and look at the bigger picture of the book its self.  Young love that it meeting road blocks at every turn, you can never go wrong with that kind of story!  The biggest draw back for me, was that this is a serial book.  :-(  You all know how much I love cliffhangers, total sarcasm at work there.  But it would not stop me from reading this book again.  Yes!  The story was that good.

I totally recommend this book to all of my readers.  Luckily the second book is already out, and the third book is up for pre-order.  I haven't had a chance yet, but I already have my sights set on the second book and I will totally let you know if the magic is still moving me.  I have a feeling it will as the cliffhanger chapter was absolutely that good.

I enjoyed this book, although I did have to get used to the way the terms of endearment were being thrown around like water. Beyond that, I thoroughly enjoyed the thought of forbidden love and the level of friendship and love found between the pages. I didn’t realize this was a cliffhanger, but the author did a fantastic job of setting up the next book. I hope Noah and Marie find their HEA in the next book.

As you guys know, I am not usually one for purchasing the complete collection of anything.  Or even anthologies for that matter.  I like to be able to read books in any order and skip the next book in a series for an extended period of time.  That may irritate you as a reader to my blog, but I get bored easy and I like to read across authors and across genres when the mood strikes me.  I will even go so far as to pay more money for a complete series, so that I have the individual books to read when I want without having to deal with holding it up on Goodreads or having to remember to go in and change my reading status.  Okay, so part of my motivation may be that I am just a little bit lazy.

That being said, I just couldn't pass up the chance to grab this collection when it came out.  I had been toying with purchasing the individual books, but some other book always seemed to move to the top of my Amazon wish list.  I am so glad that I took the plunge and grabbed this collection.  Each book was it's own experience and yet they were linked through the common thread of family.  I loved them all and, imagine my surprise, when I read them all one right after another.  Well wonders never cease.  I should have known they were going to be that good as this is Ms Snow we are talking about.

This book is the perfect, steamy short romance. We get the hot, alpha male, his perfect mate, the romance, the dirty, steamy scenes burning up the pages and a wonderful HEA in a fraction of the reading time. I loved it and can’t wait to read the next book.

How adorable is this book!  I love that they both saved themselves for each other. The fact that they knew what they wanted and were willing to wait until the time was right for both of them. They just naturally fell into the relationship because they both have loved each other in secret. I can’t wait to read the next one.

This is the perfect book to end the series. The way these two alpha personalities mesh is magical. They both refuse to give in until they do and in doing that they open themselves up to love. The HEA they find is perfect for the two of them.

You all probably thought Ms Anderson only wrote Brides of the Kindred, and why not, it’s what she’s famous for. But she has these little one off books that are every bit as good and just as intense as her Kindred books. Some are contemporary and some have just that little bit of paranormal, like this one. As a native, my life is full of the spirit and how all of our actions make her proud or cause her to take action to encourage a different way of thinking and action. This is one of those kinds of tales. Without giving anything away, you are going to be biting your nails in anxiety by the time you reach the HEA at the end. But you are going to love it!

I believe this is the best book of the series so far!  I love the troubled soul who thinks he isn’t good enough for a mate and the quirky, naive woman who can’t remember who she is.
