The war that took so much from the Dearia shifters may have ended, but they're
still dealing with the aftermath. The evil that wants complete control over the
planet seeks out a powerful relic that gives him anything he desires. It’s up
to Jinelle, Harland, Turk, Seff, and Merric to find the relic before Xaxhin
does. All the while, Jinelle’s powers grow stronger and more uncontrollable.

Oh my goodness! This is the first book I have read from this
series and I loved it! I didn’t feel confused or lost at all and now I can’t
wait to go back and read the rest of the books. The author brought every bit of
action, danger, excitement, and emotion that I have come to expect in her
writing. The characters are amazing with complex relationships that continue to
build throughout the book. I enjoyed that this takes place on another planet
with connections to earth and the differences in the location and the
residents. I especially enjoyed the little glimpse into the future of the
characters. It was such a wonderful decompression after the intensity of the
final battle. I am really looking forward to seeing what the future holds for
this author and her amazing stories.
