It should come as no
shocker that this book is a 5-star review for me. An I am not alone. I mean, look at the numbers, out of 688
global ratings, 551 of them are 5-star reviews.
Not to mention that it is right up my genre and it’s by one of my
favorite one-click authors, Laurann Dohner.
True was originally published on September 17, 2013, according to
Goodreads. He has had 2 covers since
then and they both have those yummy chest and ab ridges sure to make a reader
drool. I tend to forget to mention this
as I am not a fan of audio books, but True is also available in audio books for
those who prefer that format.
This story is such a
good example of how someone will do anything for love. What makes it more impressive is that Ms
Shiver did it without True even knowing she loved him. And she continued to do it after she thought
he didn’t want to see her ever again.
Sigh, what any of us wouldn’t do for a love like that.
This book is high on
action and intrigue, and the author kept the intensity throughout the entirety of
the story. I especially enjoyed getting
to see Ms Shiver take back some of her own when she was able to confront the
bad guy.
This book continues to
find its way into my hands as I catch myself reading it over and over
again. I love that each time feels like
the first time, and I am always discovering something I missed the last
time. Please show True, and Ms Dohner,
some love by celebrating his Book Aversary with a read/re-read of your
own. I just know you are going to love
it.

Learning the difference
Get ready for an emotional roller coaster with this one. If
you have been wondering how all the humans could be evil, this book answers
some questions. The author brought us this perfect example of how for every ten
bad people there is at least one good one. This character has suffered so much
to see the New Species freed while showing them nothing but love and
acceptance. I was never so happy to see a couple reach their HEA. I am
excitedly awaiting the next book in the series.
