One of the things I love about this author is that she
doesn’t leave you in the dark. I enjoyed seeing what happened in the past to
shape Gaius’s and Marcheal’s present. This hot vampire is fighting a losing
battle when he helps this sassy lady save her business. He might say she is not
for him, but his body and his heart and telling a different story. I enjoyed
these characters and the way they clashed before they faced reality and their
HEA. The author kept the story moving and true to the rest of the Midnight Doms
stories. This was such a fantastic addition to the collection and I am looking
forward to the next book in the series and the next one from this author.
