This is one of my
absolute favorite books/series, I am a little bummed that the author decided to
make the change to contemporary afterwards.
You will notice that I have included both of her links to her bio below,
so please be sure to show her some love everywhere. But hey!
A girl has to do what she needs to survive and thrive. I love the little touch of paranormal and
that the guys are those alpha males who aren’t afraid to love a strong woman,
but that doesn’t mean that they are not going to protect them until their dying
breath. Is that spelled correctly, I always feel like I am talking about dyeing
your clothes when I see it. Obviously spelling is not my thing and spell check
is my friend.
I first read this book
through my public library app on my IPad mini, so regretfully I just posted my
review to her book on Amazon and the other sites. But my love of it is no less sincere because
I was a bad tipper. The author did a
fantastic job of showing the emotional angst of Teague, I love that name, and
the more you read the more you see that he was giving a really bad end of the
deal. But she didn’t stop there, Dr
Foster has some hidden emotional angst herself and Teague is the only one who
can help her see them for what they are.
These two together are a dream couple and when you throw in a twin that
gets his way and family that can’t seem to get on the same page, you end up
with a book that is perfect for a long weekend.
Why? Well because you have time
to read the other three books as well.
If I could give this
book more than five stars I would. So, I
100% recommend it to all of you. I think
you might just find yourself falling in love with this bad boy and the books
that follow after.

A little bit of paranormal, a dash of intrigue, and a
healthy dose of danger and action, make this a thrilling series starter that
you won’t be able to put down until the very end. I love the characters! They
are so full bodied and well developed that I can see them all the fire house,
and I am completely invested in the outcome of their HEAs. The author kept us
in a constant state of high intensity, that didn’t fizzle at the end but
continued all of the way through. This is such an amazing series and I can’t
wait to read the next book.
