This week’s Fan Friday
feature is from one of my favorite authors, Bryce Evans. I actually own this entire series in both
paperback and ebook, so you will be seeing Ms Evans again at some point. But today we are starting with book 1 of her
Death Hunters series, The Hunter’s Mage.
This series is a spinoff of her Dixon Pack series and starts up right
where that series left off.
This author is really
a genius when it comes to her characters.
She manages to get a depth of emotion and sense of their personality
that you don’t find too often. I love the
interactions between the characters and the way Lennox is so different around
Jade then anyone else. He is so gentle
with her and tries his best, but considering the poor guy never thought he
would get a mate he’s a little confused about it all.
His mate is just as
strong a character, but she has to work harder to find her inner strength. Jade really comes into her own during this
book. I enjoyed seeing her transformation
from a shy, scared girl, to a strong confidante woman. Lennox helped a lot with this, but he wasn’t
the only one in her corner.
This book was all about
new beginnings and finding yourself. I
can’t wait to see what happens in book 2 and where the author takes her Death
Hunters next. Especially Cosmo! He is kind of the unsung hero in The Hunter’s
Mage and I can’t wait to read his story.
This book made it my
book shelf, which not many do with this world of ebooks we live in, and I highly
recommend that you add it to yours. Not
only is the cover amazing and eye catching, but the story within the pages will
give you hours of reading pleasure.
