This was such a great book!  You feel bad for both of the characters right from the start. She had such a rough start with her previous owner and he has faced public rejection for something that was not his fault. As would be expected, they have misunderstandings and misconceptions that they need to work through. But when their gentle souls connect, they find the HEA they are both looking for.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I loved it!  She did a fantastic job of showing us her hero’s alpha side and his sensitive side. He knew Lucy was the mate for him from the beginning. They might have run into a few rough patches, but the love they feel for each other never diminishes. This book has the perfect HEA. I can’t wait to read the rest of the books in the series.
