If you think you have read this book before, don’t worry you aren’t going crazy, you did. This book is exactly as it was in the Crimson Kisses Anthology. I missed reading it in the anthology, you guys know how much I “love” reading anthologies. (Insert eye roll here)

I enjoyed this story. Okay it kind of left me bummed in the beginning as it seemed like the possibility of a HEA was over from the very first chapter. Of course, the male wasn’t ready when he had his mate in his life, so he ran, and now she doesn’t trust anyone enough to believe in him and the future again. The author did a great job of leading us on an emotional journey that took us through the highs and lows of reconnecting with a lost love. I think you all are going to enjoy this short story. This book is short and sweet and all about how teenage boys grow up too slow. Okay, maybe not just about that, but this book takes the long way to the HEA when one side of a pair decides he can’t handle the truth at such a young age. I love how this duo manages to find each other again and reach their HEA. I look forward to the next book by this author.
