I have to say this book took me completely by surprise and
blew me away. There are only a couple type of stories that I really
refuse to read, I’m not into historical (I prefer to lose myself in the here
and now, you know a fiction book that could actually happen as I don’t have to
catch a ride with The Doctor), ghost romances (umm, hello! Who wants to
fall in love with someone that you have to die to really be with?
Seriously! You have to have an actual physical body to really do the smut
justice), and I usually avoid the teenage academy books that seem to be all the
rage right now (I’m an adult and never want to relive the aloneness of high
school). That being said, Ms Rose has created this little gem of a world and I
can’t wait to see where she takes all of the characters in it. She took her
BDSM flair and brought it to the WRH (don’t worry! This couple are over
the age of 18) she then added this complex story full of pain, fear, anger,
hate, and love and really drove home these real-world issues that most wouldn’t
dream of tackling. The best part is that she did it in such a way that it
really is just a part of the story.
I fell in love with these characters and the struggles they face as they are making their way to adulthood. (I need to know what happens with Cole’s sister and Pink’s bestie) I hope Ms Rose plans to continue with this storyline because I can’t wait to see what happens next within the walls of WRH.

Taking all the blame
This book is a fantastic example of how this author is such
a versatile writer. She took what would have been a teenage high story and
added all the elements that brought it to the next level of wonderful. I
enjoyed the way these enemies became lovers, the alpha dominance of Cole and
the tender forgiving nature of Pink, and when you factor in the seriousness of
every aspect of the actual story it makes for a book you won’t want to put down
and will find yourself reading again. I don’t know how she is going to top this
book with another one, but I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
