I just had to share this book with you guys. This one mixes my love of the paranormal with my love of discipline. I know I might have lost some of you there, but for those of you who aren’t afraid to embrace their love of kink, this is a book you are going to want to add to your read now pile. I had actually read this book for the first time a few years ago, it is book 2 in a series so you might want to grab the first one before reading this one, but it fell off my radar as we haven’t heard anything about the next book since the end of June 2019. I am ever hopeful that we will get the next book soon.
The author really does a wonderful job on her characters, they are well written and have a depth that goes beyond the kink. I know some of you probably prefer to not read those types because some authors have disappointed us by not having a good story to go with the spankings, but this author gives us a healthy does of both. If you took the discipline out the story would still be just that good. I think you are going to love this story, it is complete with a HEA, so don’t let my desire for book 3 dissuade you. That being said, I really need to know what happens to Eve and Ryder, and it might be greedy, but I hope there are going to be many more books in this author’s future. Of course, if we all read her books and write reviews to let her know we love them, I bet it would happen a lot sooner. No pressure, but I really want to read book 3.

I love this series. The author regales us with these amazingly hot alpha males, who take charge and make no excuses, and embroils them in an exciting story packed with danger and intrigue. Now don’t get me wrong, there are some points where I wish Clara would just throat punch Brock to make him see the light. But he really went all in when he decided to commit. I really hope the author writes more books in this series. Her characters are phenomenal, and I love her writing style, plus I have to know what happens with Ryder and Eve.
