Today’s featured book is a new release and the perfect
holiday read. In fact, it might just
have made it to the top of my holiday favorites. (oh who am I kidding, it is definitely one
that I am going to read every year if not more often) I was not expecting it to be as all consuming
as it turned out being, when I started reading it at 10 o’clock last night. Or when I fell asleep at 1 o’clock this
morning with only 5 chapters left. I
finally figured it out when I was back up at 3 o’clock because I just had to
find out what happened. (obviously I am
running completely on fumes today, but it was so worth it)
Ms Anderson and her Kindred are always one of my one-click
reads, well really anything the woman writes, she just has this knack of
creating stories that draw you in until the very last word. This book is just extra special. I love the way they connect, the humor that
comes with the whole Santa experience, (I am sure that neither of these two saw
any humor in it, but I admit I laughed more than once) the constant draw they
feel (and fight) toward each other and the way they ultimately find their
HEA. I don’t want to ruin the surprise
for you, but this book has so many layers to it and is such a fast read that I
didn’t even realize it was 325 pages, (well I think it was set up on my Kindle
app to tell me that it had 5700+ lines of words, which seems daunting when you
are starting a new book) until I was almost finished with the entire book.

Her perfect Santa
This has to be one of my favorite books by the author. Not
to mention one of the best holiday stories I have read. I love how these two
meet and connect, it really drives the rest of the book. They both have had
hard pasts that they will have to overcome to be together, hopefully before it
kills them. I enjoyed everything about this book and the HEA is one I am going
to want to keep reading. I can’t wait to see what the author sends our way
next!
