I don’t know how Ms Hartley does it, but she continues to come
up with these wonderful books about all of our favorite shifters. This particular series of books is about a
pack that seems to be cobbled together by all of the misfits no one else wants. There is every kind of shifter in the pack
from Tigers to Hyenas, and they are not shy about including born shifters and
those that are made. I really enjoyed
this book, Ms Hartley managed to broach the topic of overcoming tragedy and
what it does to the people in your life as you go through the process. There is so much love to be found once the
pain has been released and forward movement is started.

What a great escape into overcoming trauma and moving
forward. The author has really outdone herself with this book. She not only
gave us an exciting tale, but she broached the subject of moving forward after
terrible trauma. Our heroine may take a while to re-find her footing, but with
her strong alpha lion at her side she makes it to the HEA and the reunion her
wolf needs to be whole. I’m looking forward to the next book by this author. I
really hope the crusty dragon finds his mate.
