This book is an amazing encore to the series. I fell even more in love with this tight
group of friends. They continue to rally
behind each other show their support in snark, laughter and love. The author gave us an entirely new mystery to
solve and who better to help with that then the hot sheriff Sully. Could he be the new guy in Val’s life, could
he be the right guy in her life? With a
little bit of help from her new power and the mystery of her missing ex, she
might just be able to find out. The
author didn’t keep me wanting when she created this book, it held all of the
elements that I have come to expect from her writing and really kept me
enthralled until the very end. I am
really looking forward to seeing what happens in the next book in the
series.

Taking the plunge
This book is such an amazing glimpse into real life for the
mature woman. You know, those of use who have aches and pains, kids and
spouses, where life is something and not always good, but certainly worth
living. I loved the way these women are connected and the strength and
friendship they show through it all. It’s a good thing since a trip into the
lake changed everything for them. I really enjoyed the way the author slowly
repaired the marriage relationship while taking us on a journey to solve a
decades old mystery. This book is such a fantastic start to a new series and I
can’t wait to see what these ladies come up with next.
