Did you know that
yesterday was the anniversary of one of my favorite series starters? Laurann Dohner’s Fury was first published on
July 27, 2011 (according to Goodreads).
This book has had three covers, the current cover that we know and love,
the original cover, and even a French version cover. The one thing all three of these covers have
in common is the chest porn theme.
Yummy.
This book continues to
be one of my go to reads when I am overwhelmed with the new release options and
I just need to relax with a familiar, dog eared friend. You guys can gasp in shock all you want, but yes,
I am a faithful corner folder. Well, not
so much anymore since I usually leave the paperbacks decorating my bookshelves
and grab my IPad mini with my Kindle app.
I truly love this
book, it was the book that stated my love of all things Laurann Dohner and it solidified
her as one of my one-click authors. I
love all of the characters and the action, danger and excitement that she just
makes jump off of the pages. This series
might have reached a total of fifteen books, so far, but I truly hope she
continues with the series. There are so
many New Species that I still need to know that they find their HEAs. I am looking right at you Jericho and Brass,
and how about those ladies? Breeze needs
to get her task force man after putting up with all the nonsense those Species
males get up to.
Well no matter how
long it takes, I will continue to read and love this book along with the rest
of the series. If you have not already
grabbed a copy I highly recommend that you do.
You will not be disappointed and might find yourself a new staunch
supporter of the New Species and their perfect mates.

The growth of all of the New Species is such that you know there will be many
books to follow. Love and true affection grow throughout the story and before
the end I found myself backing Ellie and Fury as if I was truly there. I can’t
wait to see which New Species will find their lasting love and happiness next.
