Knowing when to be strong
Wow! The author took my breath away with this book. She covered some seriously difficult topics and she made her heroine a true survivor. The story would not have been as good if her man had been anyone else. He was the perfect counterpart to her, letting her be strong and supporting her weakness. This book is full of action and danger and the emotional connection that makes it so wonderful. There are some triggers mentioned as history, so if you are sensitive to that this might not be the book for you. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to the next book by the author.

You will not be able to put this book down. From the endearing steaminess as these three make their way toward a HEA that is perfect for them, to the need to know who the killer is you will be enthralled from the very first chapter. Neither the taming of this wild broken woman with a soft gooey center or the capture of the killer will go easy, but it will be worth the effort in the end. This is a fantastic conclusion to a wonderful series and I can’t wait to see what the author brings to us next.

Right from the beginning she starts to build and shape her characters into ones that we will want to follow through to their HEAs, then she throws in a story that builds and builds until the crescendo breaks at the end.
