All in the family

One of the things I love about this author is that she doesn’t leave you in the dark.  I enjoyed seeing what happened in the past to shape Gaius’s and Marcheal’s present.  This hot vampire is fighting a losing battle when he helps this sassy lady save her business.  He might say she is not for him, but his body and his heart and telling a different story.  I enjoyed these characters and the way they clashed before they faced reality and their HEA.  The author kept the story moving and true to the rest of the Midnight Doms stories.  This was such a fantastic addition to the collection and I am looking forward to the next book in the series and the next one from this author.

If this is Grif’s idea of torture, I might just have to be naughty myself.  What an amazing read!  I love that these two characters were both struggling to find their place, and then they stumbled upon each other.  In the process of showing the other their true worth they found their own and it was absolutely perfect.  The author kept the intensity, and steam, high with this story and wrung out every last bit of action that she could.  This book was great as a stand-alone, but you won’t want to miss the books that came before it.  I really enjoyed this book and I can’t wait to find our what the author has in store for us next.

A trial period

This writing pair has a true flare for the dominant, combining it with the world of paranormal romance and taken my Kindle by storm.  I love the characters in this book, Levi is everything I would want in my own alpha werewolf shifter and Charlie’s sweet innocence is just the balm he needs to overcome his bad history with humans.  I love how they come together and the way the authors brought them to their HEA.  But as par for the course, not without a few bumps and bruises along the way.  I cannot wait to see what these talented authors bring our way next.

What an exciting and emotional story. I love how it starts with a dramatic exit and a dream of escape, and morphs into a new reality and a HEA. I especially enjoy the bad guy since I am pron to jump at things that go bump in the dark and it got my blood pumping. I would love for the author to write more books about this village, I would love to see how the king's best friend fairs when it comes to finding his one true love, not to mention the princess needs a man of her own. I can't wait to see what the author writes next, no matter what that might be.

Fan Friday - Alpha Knots - Milana Jacks

From Dystopian romance to out of this world love and ownership, this author knows just how to make a reader’s heart thunder.  I’m not sure how I managed it, but this book is number 3 in the Alpha Horde series, which is a total misnomer since there is a book 0 that was originally published in parts on the author’s website.  Seems odd to start a paperback book collection in the middle of the series, but no one ever said I was always right in the head.  I love that each of these books is about a hot, super dominant, alpha male who finds the woman meant to be theirs and breaks free from the societal norm and becomes what nature intended them to be.

There is no much drama in the overreaching story line that you really should start from the beginning.  You will miss out on the horde members so far and what has brought them to the war they are about to embark on.  Well, not to mention you won’t want to miss the rest of the steamy stories and HEAs for the other couples.  And of course, you won’t want to miss out on the 6 books in The Hordesmen series, that continue the journey to a HEA for all of the Regha empire.

I highly recommend this book and this author as a go to read.  She keeps the action and danger at a high intensity while making sure that her characters reach the HEA that we all crave so much.  While you all start from the beginning, I am going to continue along the path and see where she takes her hot alien alphas.

This author continues to keep the series interesting with new characters and new situations. This book introduces us to not just the newest omega, who has alpha tendencies, but also to the elusive alpha female. I enjoyed this story and the way the authors took us on many an emotional turn before we reached the HEA. I especially enjoyed how our alpha found his place in the end. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
