These sassy triplets have a knack for mischief as they traverse the halls of Magnifico. I love that each of the girls have a strong personality and are into their own thing and yet are fully supportive of each other. And the young love is so sweet and adorable that I found myself rooting for the relationships. The authors kept it interesting with an edge of danger and intrigue offset by humor making it impossible not to laugh out loud. I enjoyed this YA story and I look forward to seeing more collaborations by these authors in the future.

Fan Friday – Any Witch Way But Goode – Michelle M. Pillow

 

For today’s Fan Friday favorite, we are heading back to the town of Lucky Valley, where the Goode siblings just can’t seem to catch a break. Not to worry though, with Nolan and Aunt Polly in their corner everything will be as right as rain before they know it. 

I really enjoyed the way the author kept the humor alive in this story. I never knew, from one moment to the next, if I would be tearing up or laughing out loud, and anticipation of the next page kept me glued to the edge of my seat.  I loved that there was so much action and mystery in this book, and the elusive sheriff finally makes an appearance. I feel sorry for Nolan as he still has to overcome his lady love’s insecurities, but hopefully this is the break in the circle that he needed. 

This is the perfect little romantic comedy for laugh out loud reading and closed door romance. I can’t wait until the author brings us more from Unlucky Valley, but until then I will be catching up on her Warlocks MacGregor series.

Then by the time we reach the end we are dreading the last page and the wait for the next book. I hope you enjoy this book, I can’t wait to read what happens next.

Throwback Thursday – Furbidden Attraction – R. O’Leary

 

This week’s Throwback Thursday is one I stumbled upon by accident when I was updating my Elfster wish list.  I held off for a few days, I mean I was even strong enough to put it on my wish list as an option.  But it kept calling to me, and what if no one got it for me and it was just sitting on my wish list forever?  Needless to say, I did not wait, I one-clicked it on Amazon and removed it from my wish list, and what a fantastic read it was!

By the time I had finished the first chapter, I had already returned to Amazon and purchased the rest of the series.  I even put the first 2 books in the next series on my Amazon wish list.  Oh, and I am now stalking the author on all available social media and book sights.  Hmmm…..I hope that’s not going to be a problem. 

This book was amazing!  It put a new spin on shifters and at every turn there was a new kind of danger or a new kind of being.  The story caught my attention until the very end and I am now fully invested in the characters and their HEAs.  I have so many books scheduled to read, but I just can’t escape the series rabbit hole.  I hope this author continues to bring us such wonderful works of fiction to enjoy.  I highly recommend this book and hope you take a chance, like I did, to fall in love.

I think I just found my new favorite series! The author did an amazing job with this adventure. The characters are fantastic! I love how well developed and believable they are, and the emotions that I felt like they were my own. And I enjoyed the witty repartee between the characters, even the bad guys. It helped to lighten the mood when the story reached a super intense moment. By the end of the book I was completely invested in the characters, and in seeing what happens next. The story was so well written, with smooth transitions and danger and excitement at every turn, that I just couldn’t put it down until the very end. And with an epilogue like that, I can’t wait to see who finds their HEA next.

Book Aversary – Smiley – Laurann Dohner

 

You might remember this next New Species who is celebrating his 6^th Book Aversary.  He’s tall, he’s handsome, he’s kind, oh, and he’s a primate.  That’s right!  It’s Smiley!  Smiley entered this world for the first time on October 27, 2014, according to Goodreads.  Now, over the course of 6 years, Smiley has only had 2 covers.  You guys can judge for yourselves, but I kind of like the first one better.  There’s just something about that golden chest and the lettering that draws my attention and keeps it.

I really enjoyed this book, but there are points in it where I would love to grab a hold of Vanni and shake her.  He innocence is enough to get her killed, but then when she is so gentle with Smiley her innocence couldn’t have been a more essential part to her character and the story.

I felt bad for Smiley because everyone thought the worst of Vanni, thank goodness, the author brought them to their HEA.  Smiley may not feel the same urges as the felines and canines when it comes to his mate, but sometimes the need to snuggle is more important than anything else.

You guys are going to love this one.  The author put just as much action and danger in it as her other stories with a layer of sweetness that made this a guaranteed re-read.

It’s a little shocking how they first came together, but his love and devotion is everything I have come to expect from a primate New Species. The author put a lot of action to this book and it drove my love of the series up even more. So many New Species who need to find their HEA. I can’t wait to see who is next!
