This book is perfect in the way that it shows family support and devotion. I was a little angry/frustrated by the council towards the middle. I totally understood where they were coming from, but it made it no less annoying that they treated our poor unfortunate hiker like the enemy. Fortunately for her, she has a supportive mate by her side and the head of the council forges her own path.
