OMG!!!  I love this book!  The cover is amazing, I mean who doesn't love some chest, arm, leg and let porn!  :-)  I love that the title has color to it, it still bares the Skin Walkers stripes and again the model draws all of your attention.  Yummy!!  :-)

Chief is one of those alphas who is so sure of his place in this world that he has no time for anyone else.  It is not that he thinks everyone is beneath him, exactly, but he just doesn't have it in him to care.  Like all hot alphas there is a story there, one that you will learn about as you read this book.  I don't want to give away any spoilers, but it will make you see the vulnerable side of Chief and you are going to love him for it.  Like almost all alpha males, Chief has a soft gooey center for the only woman who can tame him.  He finds that in Alise.  It might take him a while to get there, but eventually he makes his true feelings known.

Alise is a wounded soul.  She has managed to overcome it, but like all phoenixes, her rising from the ash is a fragile thing and it will not take much to cause the burn that once again she must rise from.  Chief would be her catalyst.  He might not be aware of it, but all of his actions could be the thing that send her in a downward spiral.  Never fear though, Ms Bliler might have a long running plot in her books, but she never lets us hanging without a HEA for the featured couple in the current book.

Ms Bliler has done it again!  Given us a hot alpha male to fall in love with, a wounded mate to rally behind and a glimpse into what is on the horizon for the Skin Walkers. I absolutely love Chief!  He may put out all of those stay away vibes, but they are just hiding a soul overcome with hurt and disappointment. Only his mate can heal him, but poor Alise has her work cut out for her. Will they find their HEA?  Grab the book and find out for yourself!  I, myself, will be anxiously awaiting the next installment while I continue to re-read my favorites.
