The Vegas Underground series has to be my favorite Mafia romance series, so far.  Ms Rose has done such a wonderful job of showing us what lies beneath the surface of these bad boy, alpha males.  Where even the seemingly hardest criminals have a gooey soft center for the ones they love.  It just makes it extra sweet that they have actually gone legit and no one seems to notice it.  :-)

This book is the perfect addition to this series.  It's one of those ones where the true bad guy is not the obvious person and you have to look deeper into each character to figure out who it is before the author spells it out to you.  Most of all this story is about how two people have to overcome their views on themselves and their places in this world before they are able to come together as one for the rest of their lives.

Every book in the Vegas Underground series is better than the last. Each guy is that over the top alpha male who doesn’t even realize he has a gooey center until he meets that one special woman. For Tony it’s his little songbird. She makes his emotions flare and makes him wish he was not such a bad boy. That’s okay though, this songbird might have to overcome a lot of conflicts in her life, but once she does she knows she needs Tony to have her HEA. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
