Wow, so I am a week
late on celebrating, who knew getting your daughter off to college would take
up so much of my time. But I want to
wish Ms Thorn a Happy Book Aversary on this spinoff series starter. If you love her Awakening Pride series, you
will enjoy The Halloways. These big
growly bears seem like gruff alpha males who give no wiggle room to the ladies
in their lives, but have they got you fooled.
Under all of that fur are sweet, tender hearts who want nothing more
then to find that special lady to love.
According to Goodreads, this book was originally published August 10, 2015. Wow! I can’t believe this book has been out for 5 years! Over that time, it has had 2 different covers, and I have probably read it at least 5 times. I really can’t decide which one is my favorite. Check them out and see what you think.
I really enjoyed this
book. I love how Ms Thorn started it
with a bang, and maybe a little bit of controversy. But I think the bears needed to be shook up,
so they could get off their duffs and get on with their lives. From there she took us on a journey to a HEA
that you are not going to want to miss.

Why you get to keep her, maybe. The author has outdone
herself with this fantastic spinoff from the original series. Who wouldn’t love
a pack of surly bears who think they are without the means to continue their
species. I love that the stories overlap and set us on a path for, at least 7
more books. I mean, all of the brothers have to find a mate, right? I can’t
wait to see what happens next!
