And just like that, it
has been one week since I dropped my daughter off at University. You would think by now that I would have
caught up, but no, I had to take a break to read one of my favorite unfinished
series. Well and to work, but I enjoyed
myself much more during the reading.
I love this book! It has that touch of humor that Ms Taiden manages
to put in all of her books and the emotional pull that keeps me hooked. I love the characters and the byplay between
them all. Especially the little hints of
possible connections that I can’t wait to read about next. This book is full of secrets, and danger, and
a bad guy that seems too devious for words.
This book is certainly meant to be a launching pad into the next book in
the series and the over reaching storyline seems incomplete because of that,
but Ms Taiden has left us with the perfect HEA that just makes us want to keep
on moving to the next book. Lucky for
us, book two is already available. In
guess who is reading it right now? Yep,
I am.
In my opinion, this is
a must read from Ms Taiden’s library. I highly
recommend a hot tea and a comfortable corner for the weekend, because once you
start you will not want to put it down.

So many exciting twists and turns in this new series
starter. I love how the author really took the time to build all of the
characters. Each one is so unique, and I can’t wait to read their individual
stories. This book is the best kind of “cliffhanger “ because the author gave
us the HEA for Barry and Charli, but let us know that the story is in no way
finished. I am looking forward to seeing which character gets their HEA next.
