This book is the first in a brand-new series by Carrie Pulkinen and it is going to make you laugh until you cry. These two might have come together for all the wrong reasons, but they end up being exactly what each of them needed.
Jane tends to refer to herself in the third person, a lot, don’t you just hate that, and Ethan or is it Eddie, maybe Lestat, oh anyway, he has a stick he needs removed from his very handsome posterior. With encouragement from his sire, and a shared deadline to overcome, Jane worms her way directly into his heart. But will it be enough with a supernatural enforcer, on his own mission, constantly getting in the way? I guess you will have to buy the book to find out for yourselves. You won’t be disappointed, plus then I will have some company in my desperate wait for book #2.

Just a moment of peace
This book is sweet and sassy and down right hilarious. The author set up this new series perfectly with this couple, the way they interact and play off of each other. I love how original misconceptions blossom into the perfect HEA. The book is very fast paced and each character has an essential part to play making for an excellent read. I hope we don’t have a long wait for the next book, I can’t wait to see what happens with Sophie and her werewolf.
