Tantanka “Tank” Oxendine, a hunky bison shifter, is looking for his mate, and
his friend Jaime Fierce is only too happy to find the perfect woman for him. He
just never expected the event planner in charge of his “Save the Endangered
Animals Fundraiser” would be the woman his matchmaker picked out.
Not everything can be scheduled though, and when a known poacher crashes Tank
and Seraphina’s party, all hell breaks loose.
Can Seraphina and Tank find a way to stop Richter before he places them in his
collection, or are their species doomed when looking down the barrel of a
poacher’s scope?

What an amazing first book by this author. The story is engaging with so many
twists and turns and layers, keeping the story moving and interesting until the
end. I really enjoyed the characters, each one has a unique personality and
back story and I can’t wait to see what endangered animal they shift into. I
really liked that the author gave us glimpses into future connections between
the characters, and I hope we don’t have to wait too long to see what happens
next. No matter whose story is next, I know it’s going to be entertaining and I
look forward to watching this author’s abilities grow with each book she brings
us.

Payne Craven is a poet and a paranormal romance writer. You will never be short of hunky shifters and their bad ass mates when you sit down with one of her books. She lives in the Pacific Northwest oh a Horse Ranch, in a mini home that her husband built. Spending a lot of time at home, she is surrounded with love from her loving husband Tom, daughter Wynter, and their four rescue cats. Payne is also a licensed hairstylist, and esthetician. When she has free time, Payne enjoys cooking with her daughter, playing videogames, exploring, and reading. Payne is a nerdy, geeky goth at heart. Zombies and bright green are a few of her favorite things. In fact, she loves zombies so much, she had a zombie wedding. How cool is that? Payne is a survivor of Lupus. A warrior if you will.
