How do you like your
Scotts? Why hot, of course! The author has certainly brought on the heat
with this series of books. She regals us
with moment after moment of the MacGregors hotness, both in and out of their
kilts. What with all the incidents of
naked running through the woods, practical jokes, and friendly side competitions
it’s a wonder these gorgeous ancients get anything done. They do manage it somehow though.
I am a little late to
the party with this series, so this book is only book two, but each book cracks
me up and takes me through the emotional wringer. Like this book, I could absolutely feel the
anguish both Iain and Jane felt as the MacGregor clan did what they felt best
to protect themselves against an outsider.
I cannot begin to tell you what a relief it was when the smoke cleared
and they reached their HEA. That would
make it seem like this was a super intense book, which it was, but the author
has such a fantastic knack for mixing humor with the intensity that I was taken
away to the valleys of Wisconsin from the very first page.
I can’t wait to read
the rest of the books in the series and I can only hope that Uncle Raibeart gets his own book. I think under all of that crazy there is a
depth that would shock us all. But no
matter which book the author adds to the series next, I will be adding it to my
Need To Read folder in my Kindle app. I
hope you all give the Warlocks MacGregor a chance, with 7 hilarious books in the
series, so far, and one on preorder, you are going to be laughing for more than
just the weekend.

You can’t help but love these characters, with their hot
looks and endearing accents, especially when they got up to shenanigans and
show sibling affection by pulling pranks. I love how the author brought them to
life with their inappropriate comments and random uses of magic. Not to mention
that there is such a fantastically amazing story hidden in amongst the madness,
where you aren’t quite sure love will win until the HEA. I thoroughly enjoyed
this book and I can’t wait to see what those crazy MacGregors get up to next.
