This year I am adding another featured series to the mix. Book Recipes! So many of our favorite books have recipes within the pages that I just can’t wait to share them. Some of them I have tried for myself, others I have asked friends to attempt, and still others are based solely on the recommendation of the author and their characters. Some of these recipes might also be my own take on the name of the dish and the list of ingredients that the author has put into the story.
This series will not be as regular as my other featured series because I will only have a recipe as I come across them in the books I review. No matter what, it should be fun trying our hand at the recipes and seeing how they taste. Who knows we might find our next favorite meal. I can’t wait to hear what how your own attempts at making the different dishes turns out. Just a word of warning, there tend to be a lot of drink recipes in the types of books I enjoy.

This first recipe is not for the feint of heart. It is just as spicy as the name would indicate, but for those brave enough to try, and maybe with cast iron stomachs, you are going to love it.
Dragon Bite
3 shots Cinnamon Fire Whisky
½ bottle Ginger Beer
1 slice Lime
1 slice Lemon
1 slice Fresh Jalapeno
Some Freshly Grated Ginger
1 tiny drop Ghost Pepper oil
Mix together in a glass and garnish.

Such a sweet Valentines story. This book is a perfect example of all that is right in the world of Maccon City. I love how the author gave us a back story and intermingled the Macconwood pack into the new Falk Clan. I think these dragons are going to bring a brand-new exciting element to the author’s series world. I truly enjoyed this instant connection and the love that this couple found. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
