Today’s Fan Friday
favorite is brought to you by the fabulous Milly Taiden. This book was originally more of a novella,
but she has since made some changes and expanded it. You know what that means! More fabulous shifters for us to enjoy. I love all of the action and adventure that
is in this story, and I especially enjoyed the way the shy lady gets her alpha
man. Of course, not without a double
helping of alpha female to help her find her underlying back bone.
I think this is a
story you are not going to want to miss.
But wait! There is more! Imagine my surprise when I discovered a bonus
story at the back of the book written by Ms Taiden and another one of my
favorite authors, Mina Carter. Score!
This little shorty is
hot and intense, and will get your blood pumping. These authors work so well together that the
story seems seamless and as if only one person wrote it. I really hope that we get to see more from
these ladies and about those wild MC brothers.
Whether you read one story
or two, you will want to add this book to your library.

Sophia isn't prepared for her first mating heat or the fact her feelings for
Chase refuse to remain under wraps. When someone wants her research, she'll

Things are a lot more complicated than being perfectly mated. The race is on to
stop the bad guys from getting their hands on her work and staying alive.

A sister’s love
This story has everything we love about shifters and so much more. I love how
the author almost kept these two characters apart because of a bad case of
shyness, and then she sets them on a new path with just a little stumble. The
action was high and we got to see so many supporting characters that I wouldn’t
mind seeing get stories of their own. I especially enjoyed the twists and turns
that kept the story interesting until the very end. I’m looking forward to
seeing what happens next with the Black Meadows Pack.

Pack Princess
A walk on the wild side
These two authors paired together perfectly creating a hot fast read that will
make your glasses fog. I love how these two characters found each other through
impossible odds to become the match they were meant to be. The danger was at a
minimum, but the intrigue was at an all time high making for a fantastic story
you will want to read again. I would love to see if more of the MC find their
mates, but that is a story for another day.

Mina was born and raised in the East
Farthing of Middle Earth (otherwise known as the Midlands, England) and spend
her childhood learning all the sorts of things generally required of a
professional adventurer. Able to ride, box, shoot, make and read maps, make
chainmail and use a broadsword (with varying degrees of efficiency) she was
disgusted to find that adventuring is not considered a suitable occupation
these days.
So, instead of slaying dragons and hunting vampires and the like, Mina spends
her days writing about hot shifters, government conspiracies and vampire lords
with more than their fair share of RAWR. Turns out wanna-be adventurers have
quite the turn of imagination after all...
(But she keeps that sword sharp, just in case the writing career is just a
dream and she really *is* an adventurer.)
The boring part: A full time author, photographer and cover artist, Mina can
usually be found hunched over a keyboard or graphics tablet, frantically trying
to get the images and words in her head out and onto the screen before they
drive her mad. She's addicted to coffee and would like to be addicted to
chocolate, but unfortunately chocolate dislikes her.
