I loved, loved, loved this book!  It started with the cover and just continued all the way through to the last word.  If you loved the Dixon Pack, then this is the book for you.  Once again, we get to see all our favorite couples from the Dixon Pack with some new members thrown in.  It has been a while since we heard anything from Ms Evans (Finley's Feisty mate was published on Amazon July 23, 2017), but the beginning of this new series was well worth the wait. 

The Hunter's Mage is not your typical steamy romance novel, you all know I love the heat of a good sex scene between an alpha male and his lady love, but a truly romantic book.  Lennox knows he needs to have Jade in his life and he changes his entire way of thinking, from Alpha male demands to sweet romantic gestures, to overcome her insecurities and win her love.  By the end, Jade is the strong alpha female Lennox needs and that the Death Hunters will respect.

If you are looking for a romantic book about overcoming adversity and finding yourself, this is the book for you!  Jade is portrayed as a gentle, shy soul who survived tragedy in her youth. She is loved and protected by her entire pack, but never really able to spread her wings. Lennox is the alpha of the fiercest group of shifters who never thought he would have a mate of his own. Through the help of his beta and the women of Jade’s pack, he slowly brings her out of her shell and helps her to become who she was always meant to be. I love the sheer romance of this story and the love that flows from the pages. I can’t wait to see what happens with the rest of the pack.
