OMG!! I can’t believe this book was published to
Amazon in 2013 and the rest of the series has not been written. I love this
book and I’m already invested in the rest of the pack, as well as Layla, Alaric
and the two vampires finding their mates. The story is so well rounded and well
written that each character is an essential part of the story and not just a
supporting cast member to the lead couple. If even one had not been included
the story may have suffered. I thoroughly enjoyed Crazy Lizzy and her antics.
It makes you wonder if she is really crazy or if it isn’t just difficult to
separate the far future she sees with the reality she lives.
I truly hope Ms Crescent takes pity on her poor readers and
brings back the pack with stories of them finding the mates and HEAs they crave
and deserve. I’m fairly certain we haven’t seen the last of Lori yet. Evil like
that tends to be the bad penny that keeps showing up.

The declaration of a mate is fast in this story, but the
build up to the HEA is a long glorious ride. What a great beginning of a new
series! There are all those paranormal beings we love and the ones we
love to hate. So many side characters just waiting to have their stories told
and good ole Crazy Lizzy who seems the sort to gently wind her way through them
all. I hope we get to see what became of everyone soon.
