This is the perfect book for those who have overcome
bullying or even those who wish to overcome it.
Ms Anderson did a wonderful job of showing us what it truly means to
overcome bullying and how much effort it takes and the psychological trauma
that someone who has been bullied goes through.
I was afraid that Annie would have a setback when Dru rejected her, but
she was so focused on her goal that she was able to overcome. Good thing the goddess was keeping an eye on
the two of them or all would have been lost.
As it was Dru just barely got there in time to save the day. But save the day he did and he finally saw
that she was worth more than all of the self-control in the world.

I don’t know how she manages it, but each of these books
seems to be better than the last. I truly enjoyed this one! Annie had
overcome her childhood bullying and then she met Dru and I really thought his
rejection would set her back no matter how noble his reasons were. But she
proved what a strong, courageous woman when she went after what she wanted. I
was so happy that these two, or is it really three, achieved their HEA. I can’t
wait to read the next book and see what happens to the Kindred and their
mates.
