This book is a double whammy. It features an older guy and a young girl who
just happens to have been used by her father to pay off his debt. I know right!
Makes me want to reach into the pages and slap some sense into the
father. Obviously, that won’t work for
several reasons, no matter how much I want fictional characters to be real they
are not, and someone that is that much of a dead beat will remain a dead beat
no matter what.
It’s a good thing Jackson is not a total cad. He just happens to have fallen in love with
the poor girl when he first laid eyes on her.
Of course, no shocker there as apparently Jackson is very handsome, Megan
has had her eye on him for a while and is a willing payment.

Megan’s dad used her as collateral on a debt leaving her no
choice but to go along with it. Jackson has been planning this for a while and
happily accepts payment. I love how the author already had these two showing
the love in their hearts from the first page. This entire ruse has been to
bring them to their HEA. It worked! This book was fantastic now onto the
next one.
